What is the sum of the angles of the polygon?
This brochure was written based on a lecture for schoolchildren, which the author gave at the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of Moscow State University on March 25, 2017 as part of the “University Saturday” project, carried out with the support of the Moscow Department of Education. The presentation of the material significantly complements the content of the lecture and calculates It is intended for a wide range of readers interested in mathematics: high school students, junior students, high school teachers and university professors.
Numerical Methods. Solutions to Problems and Exercises
The material of the tutorial corresponds to the programme of the course "Numerical Methods" recommended by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. It contains the main provisions of the theory, a large number of detailed examples that are the basis for computer solutions of practical and educational problems of varying levels of complexity - from home exercises to term papers and theses. Exercises for independent work are included. A book of this type has no analogues either in our country or abroad.
For students of universities, pedagogical universities, universities with advanced study of mathematics, as well as for students of technical universities, postgraduate students and teachers, engineers and researchers using numerical methods in their practical activities.
Numerical Analysis of Composite Mechanics Problems
The publication is devoted to the presentation of physically and geometrically nonlinear quasi-static boundary value problems of solid mechanics and their implementation by the finite element method. The book combines educational material and new results obtained by the authors. For composite materials, the asymptotic two-scale method is used. Numerical modeling of the consolidation process, effective properties of rocky soils, dispersed composite and rubber-cord layer is described.
The book is intended for researchers, graduate students and students, as well as engineers and researchers in applied fields of knowledge who use asymptotic and numerical methods in their activities.

Elements of mathematical statistics
We talk about the basic concepts of statistics, understanding by it, as is customary in the school course, descriptive statistics. The main attention is paid to statistical variables and operations on them (linear transformations, summation, mixing). In the final section, using the example of the history of the discovery of argon, we talk about the role of statistics in natural science.
Elements of the Theory of Reforms
Reform theory is a relatively new branch of economic theory that studies the processes of targeted change in economic institutions. This monograph outlines the range of relevant problems and presents some of the most important results of reform theory.
