The textbook is the result of generalizing the experience of teaching the university course "Working on a Computer and Programming" for students of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the school course "Computer Science" in classes at the Mechanics and Mathematics Department based at School No. 54 in Moscow and in the mathematics classes of the University Gymnasium. The book collects and systematizes the problems offered for independent solution during seminars, laboratory work, tests and exams.
