Vizantiyskiy Vremennik. Volume 101 (2017)

The new volume of the oldest academic yearbook opens with an article by R.M. Shukurov, where he proposes an attempt to give a general description of the Byzantine culture in its attitude to multilingualism and readiness to master foreign languages.
