The book is based on a course of lectures given by the author (professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Modeling of the I.M. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas) at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University, at universities and research centers in Warsaw, Berlin, Liege, Brussels , USA. The main attention is paid to the structure of service processes, service systems with priorities, with division of service time, optimization of the service order, statistical estimation of service process parameters.
