Lectures on Group Analysis of Differential Equations

The textbook is based on a course of lectures given over 10 years at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University and is devoted to the presentation of methods for studying differential equations (mainly nonlinear partial differential equations), usually called group equations". These methods make it possible to identify equations that are most accessible for research: analysis, integration, reduction to simpler ones, etc.

The textbook is intended for undergraduate and graduate students of physics and mathematics specialties at universities, as well as for researchers interested in mastering the methods of group analysis of differential equations.
