The content of the textbook complies with the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education.
This textbook presents the theoretical foundations of the chemistry, physical chemistry, and physics of macromolecular compounds from the perspective of the synthesis-structure-properties relationship. It explains how macromolecules are formed and their molecular characteristics are determined. It examines the structure of an isolated macromolecule, macromolecules in dispersed and condensed states, and their relationship with molecular characteristics. It also discusses the fundamental properties of polymers in solution and in the bulk, as well as the reasons for the unique properties of polymers that distinguish them from other materials.
