Selected Works

The publication contains a collection of selected works: the books "Numerical Methods of Algebra. Theory and Algorithms", "Roundoff Errors and Stability in Direct Methods of Linear Algebra", "Computational Foundations of Linear Algebra"; lectures "Computational Mathematics and the Structure of Algorithms"; three articles, including the first publication by V. V. Voevodin, devoted to calculating the roots of algebraic polynomials and two articles, the results of which have become widely known in the world, but the articles themselves were published in rotary-print collections and therefore are not accessible to the general reader and are a bibliographic rarity.

The book can be recommended as an additional source for undergraduate and graduate students of universities and colleges who are beginning to study works on computational algebra. It will be useful for young specialists and teachers of this discipline, researchers in related fields of knowledge, as well as historians of science.
