Abstract
The monograph, based on a wide range of sources, including documents from the archives and libraries of France, for the first time studies the political grouping of the Feuillants (the "party" of the Feuillants) - one of the three most influential political groups of the French Revolution of the late 18th century, along with the Girondins and Jacobins. The author shows that the Feuillants defended the liberal “principles of 1789” in their most orthodox form and represented a liberal alternative to the Jacobin-democratic tradition during the political struggle of that significant year of the revolution (summer 1791 - summer 1792), which ended with the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of the First Republic in France. For historians, teachers, students of university history departments and anyone interested in the history of the French Revolution of the late 18th century.
