Economic Policy: A Textbook

This textbook introduces students to the main categories and trends in the development of economic policy areas: monetary, fiscal, foreign trade and social. The material is based on theories of macroeconomics, foreign trade, the public sector and extensive foreign experience. The authors relied on an analysis of modern trends in economic policy, taking into account its response to the global economic crises of 2007-2009 and 2020. The textbook allows students to develop an understanding of how decisions are made in the field of economic policy and what tools are used within the framework of its main directions in developed countries and countries with emerging markets.

The content of the textbook is based on the lecture series "Economic Policy", which the authors have been giving since 2011 for students of the Moscow School of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The textbook can be used by teachers of relevant subjects in the field of macroeconomics and national economy management and senior students of universities.
