The book is intended for researchers, graduate students and students, as well as engineers and researchers in applied fields of knowledge who use asymptotic and numerical methods in their activities.
The publication is devoted to the presentation of physically and geometrically nonlinear quasi-static boundary value problems of solid mechanics and their implementation by the finite element method. The book combines educational material and new results obtained by the authors. For composite materials, the asymptotic two-scale method is used. Numerical modeling of the consolidation process, effective properties of rocky soils, dispersed composite and rubber-cord layer is described.
The book is intended for researchers, graduate students and students, as well as engineers and researchers in applied fields of knowledge who use asymptotic and numerical methods in their activities.
