Special Histology

This manual is intended for students of the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Moscow State University for their successful mastery of the practical course "Special Histology". The manual contains a presentation of theoretical information on each topic studied in a minimal volume, so it is recommended as additional educational material that does not replace textbooks and atlases. Preparations are considered on separate topics, each of which corresponds to the study of a certain organ system. To facilitate memorization of the material, a brief description of the preparations is given with an emphasis on those distinctive features that are clearly visible under a light microscope at standard coloring. The list of questions at the end of each section is compiled to help students prepare for the test and exam in the course "Special Histology".

The manual can be recommended for reviewing basic material before mastering such disciplines as "Splanchnology", "Pathological Histology", "Pathological Anatomy" and the special course "Epithelial, Muscular and Nerve Tissue".
